About Citadel Associates

Citadel Associates (SY) Ltd is a multi-award winning ‘not for profit’ Social Enterprise which was established during the financial crash in 2008.  We established the company specifically to deliver innovative projects in South Yorkshire, which significantly improve life’s journey of the most vulnerable adults and young people.  We do this predominantly through training structures coupled with one-to-one support.  Citadel has supported over 4,000 people in improving their skills, qualifications, mental health, ability to make friends and gain employment, and much more.

Citadel has always been committed to delivering projects that focus on the ‘most marginalised’ sections of the community that other provider’s either cannot help, have no dedicated provision for or for people who have come to the end of regular provision without success. 

Our projects are each developed from the social and developmental needs of the potential clients we speak to and feedback of those we serve.  The projects are operated through a network of staff, associates and partners who have years of experience working in the Voluntary, Community and Social Sector and/or specialise in a particular area of expertise, disability, medical condition, or speciality.  Our aim is to create ‘real and lasting change’ in the life journey of our clients, their families, and the communities to which they belong.
